A practicing attorney since 2002 and a partner in the firm since 2007, Mr. Dodd represents clients in both state and federal courts in both civil and criminal matters. He has also acted as co-counsel to Mr. Jaffe on numerous cases, including two clients facing the Death Penalty, and attended the prestigious Death Penalty College at Santa Clara University in California in 2002. Mr. Dodd was one of only 75 attorneys named in 2007 to the CJA Panel for the Northern District of Alabama, representing indigent defendants in Federal Court.

Mr. Dodd also practices extensively in the area of civil defense representing both municipal and corporate clients. Notably, over the last 5 years Mr. Dodd has represented the Honorable Bernard Kincaid of Birmingham in numerous civil actions, all of which were resolved successfully in favor of the Mayor.

Mr. Dodd also represents injured plaintiffs in both state and federal courts. The breadth of Mr. Dodd's practice and experience allows him to provide each of the law firm's clients with his unique, global perspective and makes him an invaluable asset to Jaffe, Strickland, Drennan & Dodd, P.C.

In Law School Mr. Dodd was awarded the Dean Thomas W. Christopher award for Lasting Contribution to the Law School, as well as the George Peach Taylor award for his role on the school's Trial Advocacy competition team.
