We are pleased to announce that Attorney Richard S. Jaffe will be giving a speech at the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers’ 5th Annual Race Matters seminar. Mr. Jaffe’s presentation, Racial Realities in the Criminal Legal System: The Profound Impacts of Race in Criminal Trials, will take place on the first day of this two-day event.
The Race Matters seminar brings together attorneys, experts, and academics to discuss racial biases in the American criminal justice system. It is designed to bring awareness to these problems and how they adversely impact certain individuals going through the legal process. Participants will also walk away equipped with the tools and knowledge to recognize and overcome race-based issues.
The event will take place from September 7 through September 9, 2022, at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa in Montgomery, AL.
