Attorney Richard Jaffe Inducted Into Hall of Fame Attorneys by B-Metro Magazine

Attorney Richard Jaffe of Jaffe, Hanle, Whisonant & Knight, P.C. in Birmingham, Alabama has recently been inducted to the inaugural class of B-Metro Magazine’s Hall of Fame Attorneys.

In order to be selected as a “Hall of Fame Attorneys” member, each candidate must have at least 25 years of practice experience. B-Metro Magazine also used a strict section of criteria to choose the winning candidates for the inaugural class. Attorneys chosen are all considered to be outstanding in their fields based on case results, client testimonials, and peer reviews. As a whole, B-Metro Magazine “Hall of Fame Attorneys” are seen as local legal leaders that benefit both professional legal circles and client communities alike with their experience and talents.

Attorney Richard Jaffe graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1976 and soon began his career as a prosecutor. Only a few short years later, though, Jaffe had discovered his passion for defending the criminally accused and others in need. Jaffe, Hanle, Whisonant & Knight, P.C. was founded in 2015.

A notable accomplishment in his career is his representation of more than 70 people who had been accused of criminal offenses capable of capital punishment upon conviction. Attorney Richard Jaffe has also helped exonerate four-of-six death row inmates in Alabama in recent years. Jaffe is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL). He is the founder and past president of the Greater Birmingham Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, past President of the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and is listed in Super Lawyers®, and the Best Lawyers® of America. He currently concentrates in the area of White-Collar litigation.
